A native of Gratis, Ohio and graduate of Preble Shawnee High School, Bryon received his Bachelor of Biblical Studies at East Coast Bible College as well as his  Master of Theological Studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, both located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He and his wife (Amy) have been married 35 years. They  managed to raise three boys, Joshua (wife Meghan), Nate (wife Hannah), and Andrew Gevedon.  Two granddaughters, Esther Elaine, and Addaline Mae have added a new twist in life for them, for which they are so happy and thankful.
