Kid’s Ministries

We have Christian Education and worship services available for kids - ages infant to 12 years old. Our kids ministries include:

Sunday School | Sunday School for kids ages 4 to 12 begins at 9:15am.

Children’s Church | Children ages 4 to 12 are dismissed from the morning service to Children’s Church where they will hear a lesson from the Word of God and participate in an activity.

Multiple times throughout the year our kids will perform and share on Sunday mornings.

Nursery | WACOB has a staffed nursery for your infants and your toddlers and a mother's room, both of which you can listen audibly to the morning messages.

Youth Ministry

WACOB has partnered with Youth for Christ and 7 churches in West Alexandria to form Campus Life Mobile. CLMobile is a 7th-12th grade youth ministry that meets on Wednesday nights, moving (mobile) from church to church. Christian Education

WACOB currently has two regular opportunities for Christian Education. Our Adult Sunday School class meets every Sunday morning from 9:15am to 10:00am. For more information about Christian Education please contact Pastor Brody.

Women’s Fellowship

The WACOB Women’s Fellowship holds multiple fund-raising and fellowship events throughout the year including the annual Turkey Supper. This ministry has also become a backbone of our church for funding various church projects and ministries. Stewards Commission

Our stewards manage the facilities at WACOB and are always working on projects to improve our current facilities. If you would love to help out with some upcoming projects or have questions regarding our facilities please contact pbrodyrike@gmail.comDean S

Music and Worship Commission

Our Music and Worship Commission manages the resources and staffing of our Sunday morning services. There are always many simple ways for anyone to serve in our worship services. If you would like to get involved please contact pbrodyrike@gmail.com

Witness and Nurture Commission

Our Witness and Nurture Commission plans regular fellowship and outreach events for our church. If you would like to help out with an upcoming event or have a great idea for a future event please contact pbrodyrike@gmail.com.

Deacons

The Deacons of WACOB provide spiritual leadership to our church by administering our various church sacraments and managing our church prayer chain. If you would have a prayer chain request or any questions regarding the Deacons please contact Rod Shockey.
